The Bouquet
The bouquet included a lot of spring flowers, or those with special meaning to the bride.
Crocuses and pussywillows are signs of the arrival of spring, with violets arriving soon after. Lilacs, in white and purple, are one of Jenn's favorite flowers, and are just coming to bloom in late April and early May. Dog roses (white), daisies (purple) and lamb's ear are all perennials that arrive in early to mid summer, while different varieties of eucalyptus are in-season nearly year-round.
The bow is tied with tulle from Jenn's dress alteration. Underneath it is a bracelet, twin to the one given to her niece Rachel, that says "She believed she could, so she did." The medallion says "Missing you as I walk down the aisle" as a way of connecting the ceremony to the many family and friends that could not be with us.
